Speaking of recycled dogs........

A friend of my son, who is a single dad of two great pre-teen boys, lost his job a few months ago and could no longer afford to keep his two little doxie puppies.  They were very well cared for, up-to-date with shots and clean and oh so happy!!!  My son brought them home.  One of them is going on to another great home and one is staying with our family.  They are the sweetest tempered dogs I've ever met and so loving.

The puggie girls aren't sure if they like the intruders yet, but the little doxies are so friendly they just won't be ignored.  Maxie, the one in the red harness is the least happy with the new additions.

They are nearly 100% house trained, nearly.

They LOVE the fenced back yard to play in.  I hope the weather holds out, so they get lots of exercise.

It's a Boy!!! SOGWPIP (silly old grandma with pictures in purse)

I haven't updated in a long time, but it's time now.

We just welcomed a new family member into the world.  Meet Master Chance Wayne.  He was born March 12, 2010 and weighed 7 pounds 13 1/2 ounces.  Is he cute or what?  His great grandma loves him and thinks kissing those smooshy little cheeks is absolute heaven.  :-)

How exciting it was, after the long wait, to welcome Baby Chance home.  Even FlatPuglet was here to join in the celebration.

He and the human mommy waited patiently for the baby.

Then, when the baby finally got here, he sniffed him and decided he was better than a puppy for now.

Before FlatPuglet left for his next stop he posed for a picture with Phoebe and Kizzy, the resident pugs.

Some of these pictures and more can be viewed along with the full story of FlatPuglet's visit by going to http://www.flatpuglet.com/.
FlatPuglet's mission is to bring awareness to the world about rescue organizations and about recycled animals who need love and homes.
Chance Wayne's mission is to eat, sleep, poop and get as many hugs and kisses as any baby can stand.
